Rep Power: 0    | Ideas for Reduced Golf schedule - How to reduce PGA schedule I understand that the PGA will be reducing the schedule starting in 2007... My ideas... 1. Get rid of the Bell South in Atlanta, Disney in Orlando, Honda in Palm Beach, LaCosta event since there are already PGA events in those areas (i.e. Tour Championship, Bay Hill, Doral, and Buick in San Diego). 2. Rotate the Byron Nelson and Hogan events, so that both can be held, but you don't have two events in the Dallas area.. 3. Get rid of having two PGA events on the same week.. (BC and British Open the same week is unacceptable) 4. Since the World Golf Championships are here to stay and mostly in the U.S., ortate two of those events around PGA events like Houston, New Orleans, Memphis, so that the top stars will come to every PGA event. |
