Rep Power: 0    | PGA Players Entry Fee ? I never really thought about it, but do the PGA tour players have to pay entry fees to play in the various tournaments? I understand that some players are exempt and what not, but what about the others? Is that where the purse comes from? I just assumed they wouldn't be paying to enter and that they just got to play because they're on the tour. |

Rep Power: 0 | The sponsors pay for their entry fee. Calloway also gives its players around $3,000 for every minute of air time they get during tournaments. I'm assuming other companies do similar things. |
