It's the week before the Open Championship, so most of the big names are off prepping for St. Andrews (some at the Gleneagles, some at home), but there are still a few interesting stories at the John Deere Classic this week. Michelle Wie is back for another shot at the big boys, and Mark Hensby returns to defend his title. It's probably a weaker field than will appear in Scotland (or for that matter, at the JP McManus pro-am staged the last couple days in Ireland too ), but still should provide a bit of excitement leading into the big one next week.
