Hello and Help!

I started playing golf 3 years ago. I have been getting better year by year. (I wish I would have started playing years ago). The last time I went out, I was hitting a weak slice on the first couple of holes and ruined my round. Any mental tips to stay positive after a bad start? Thanks.

I would go back prior to the bad start and see what happened. Did you get to the course late, did you not hit any range balls, did you not chip and putt. If I don't get to hit balls I play the first hole over and over in my head. I swing the driver then the 8 iron on my course. Repeat that 5 times on the first tee box. Pull out what you hit on ther first hole of that course. Put it in the bag then pull out what you hit into the first green repeat repeat

Pargrinder,

Thanks for the reply. Honestly, I was running a little late. I will make sure to show up early to properly prepare. I appreciate the advice. I will let you know how it goes!
