Reading Breaks On The Green

Does anyone know the best way to read breaks. Judging distance and the pace of the putt is not a problem. I seem to miss the hole on the low side.

Any Feedback is appreciated.

I like to look at the putt from all four angles. Then I find that by wearing sunglasses during day play helps me see better the little hills and the blades of grass taht stick up and slow down the put and will through it off line

i've just used all my skill i have learned from cadding for 7 years. My dad and brother sometimes wonder how i read puts. always a good idea to keep in mind walking up to a green which way it slopes ex. front to back, back to front.

you always need to aim high. if you are missing low then you are never giving the putt a chance.

I usually can read it relatively well, just can't execute!

Typically, a green will fall towards water(aka lakes/ponds).

this is common. The high side is the pro side.

i miss most of my putts low as well, and am working on reading a bit more break when necessary and the speed dictates. It has helped.

Also I'm focusing much more on a spot that is closer to the ball rather than the apex of the break. If I aim for the apex it goes low, if I concentrate on the beggining of the arc i roll it much truer to the break that I've read.
