Why is this "bad"?

I was just browsing the golf channel website and it had this article about streching and yoga stuff. The link is here: http://www.thegolfchannel.com/core.a...80&selec t2=0

Just check out the first paragraph and tell me why its "very bad etiquette" to change your golf shoes in the parking lot of a golf course? Maybe I am misunderstanding but I do this now and have done it for years.

I guess it depends where you play. If it's a public/muni. then I would say it is totally acceptable, but if it's a private club then I'd say to change in the men's locker room.

I agree, but who would change in the parking lot at a private club?

I have always used the locker room.

That wouldn't be considered "bad" at mu golf course. I doubt it even has a locker room. lol

When I was lin Asia (Korea) they have these awesome spa's and the weirdest thing was they have 2 sets of lockers. There's a intial locker where you go and put your shoes and valuables and then you go to this second locker room to disrobe and enter the spa.
