| I have a bowed wrist at the top. It allows me to deloft and trap the ball at impact. This is the secret to power. Weak hitters add loft to their club and slap at the ball. Plus, I don't hook the ball as people tend to believe from this position. I playa power fade with the driver and a soft fade with the irons with lots of power. You can play cupped, flat or bowed. If you practice enough you can learn any way or philosophy. I prefer bowed because you will trap the ball consistently, it's a powerful move, you can extract the ball from any lie, and it's much easier to reproduce in my humble opinion... |
