Aligning using club, legal or not?

Is using any object such as your club ilegal for aligning ?

Ah I see I wasnt sure as I have heard different stories from different people some say its fine some say its a no no.

I cant see why it would be illegal, but I dont really know. I think that it is a great practice tool but not while playing.

Definately illegal. And you'd know if it were legal because every pro would be doing it on the course. They already do on the range.
