How to prepare for a course you hate

I am playing at a course tomorrow that I despise. The first few holes are the worst in terms of layout and I can't seem to help going in with a bad attitude. The course is also very crappy in terms of people, carts, and maintence.

How do you prepare to take on a course that you dislike? I try to have a positive attitude ( I am Mr. Happy-Gilmore, just tap it in most of the time) but this place just....

Advice?

bloody mary and some good friends should get you through...seriously you're out playing, it's going to be ok.

I recently played at a course that I just can't stand. I did the beer and friends thing and it still sucked. This course freakin' owns me:

I'm going to wait a long time until I play that one again.

Owned me. Greens were small, hard and super fast, not to mention it was 90 degress out.
