Well if you want a bare-bones, frills-free, walking bag get one of those "sunday" bags..I have a couple of PING's (Hoofer 2 and an L7). The L7 is lighter and less bulky than the Hoofer 2. I just got a Callaway STS..but only because Most of my irons and driver are Cally's.

I thin the Sun Mountain stand bags are nice too..the key thing with me since I walk is it's gotta be LITE LITE LITE!!

thanks for the write up. I have a quill that I use when trunk space is at a premium...

I didn't see the ping bags at the shop. But I think, like you, that I like to represent something I play rather than something I don't. The Sun Mountains looked good. I'll check out the callaway...I play the tour when I'm not playing found provs.

thanks,

Vincent.

Walked with my Hogan bag the last few rounds. No problem, turns out I had a few extra golf balls in there weighing that sucker down.

I think I'll hold off on a new bag for a while longer.
