KZG Gemini Driver

Does anybody have any experience with any double wall / face drivers? I have looked into the KZG Gemini and the Pine Meadow Golf DoubleWall. I am leaning towards getting a KZG custom fit, since I have owned some of their clubs before and like the quality.

I like the claims of these drivers and the reviews have been positive, but Golfreview.com reviews are always too cheery. Any impressions would be great.

About my game. I have a GBBII with a firm shaft. I should have a regular flex, but I thought I was better than I am when I bought it. I hit it about 235 with little control. I now tee off with a MacGregor eye-o-matic 15* 3-wood and hit it about 235 to 250 with decent control.

I had a KZG Gemini for a few weeks. It was a very long driver. I liked it quite a bit, but it couldn't kick my G2 out of the bag. Both had the NVS 65S shaft. The thing I did not like was the resale value. Pretty bad.

I play the KZG Gemini 10.5 with a Graphite Design stiff shaft and a new Winn Grip. I like it quite a bit. The best thing about it is the sound. If you play softball, the sounds are similar. "TONG"!!! That may not seem important to some, but sound was important to me. I have friends that play Callaway drivers (Fusion) that don't like them simply b/c of the dull "thud" sound. The driver is long and accurate. Also, it is a custom driver-you should get fitted for it; not buy it on ebay-and it will perform well b/c of this. Hope this helps.

Interesting point you made. I've never liked buying clubs off of ebay. Had a few bad experiences and you never know how the club will feel. Different if it's new, but used clubs from there really turned me off. Speaking of grips, how do you like the Winn grips? I need to have my G2's regripped. Ping is notorious for putting on the absolute worst Golf Pride grips in existence. Only 1 year of use (light use too, at that) and they're almost slick already.
