Putters, choices choices choices

Well I've done it. I've bought a new putter. I've had two in 20 years my last one is 16 years old, and a bit bent. I tried a bunch and found that the new odyssey two ball fits my stroke perfectly. It is so easy to keep the club face square.

I had been struggling to park my old trusty (be cu ping anser), but man is this worth it. I don't have the new distances worked out, but I'm rolling the ball on line so much easier.

My golf pro told me that one of the things I should consider is changing putters in order to be able to mentally and physically break 80 more often. It's working...hope it keeps up. It's hard to park old trusty, but man do I love birdies.

Try changing the flatstick.

I have a Ping Zing 2 that is 15 years old. I am currently drooling a bit over the Yes Natalie. I feel like I owe myself a new putter. LOL!!!

I have had some old putters that I have loved, right now I have a Camron and Betenardi *spelling* also have a white hot. I really change them around and sometimes stick with one for one season and another for another season. I know, it is wierd, but I find it fun!

So I've had this putter for three days now, and I'm hooked. Putting is fun again!!!!

I'm rolling in three footers with no fear again and giving myself a chance on ten fotters plus. Plus three sand saves today, I should have done this a long time ago. It's part equipment and part mental. shake it up once in a while. can you tell, I'm thrilled about this.

Hehe, glad all is well with the new equipment. New equipment is needed, perhaps even if it doesn't actually improve your game it motivates you to get better, at times.

I honestly believe with putters it all about how it makes you feel. In my rotation I have a SC Newport II SS, Bettinardi BBX (Mercedes Championship Version) and it's always one or the other.
