Rep Power: 0    | Custom Shafts = Better or... ? I am starting to play alot more, and I was wondering, will getting custom shafts on my irons, driver and fairway woods give me more distance, forgivingness and/or more accuracy? How much more does it cost to get a custom shaft? What shafts would you recommend for a 13ish handicap, fast swing speed on an R7? If someone could help me out, that would be great! Thanks, |

Rep Power: 0 | In your woods, definitely. But, all shafts are mass produced and can be bought through catalogs. There is no such thing as a custom made shaft - just a custom fitting of a shaft to your swing. I think that is what you meant.  I bought TT tour ultralight shafts for my hogan irons and couldn't be happier. I also bought an Aldila NZ graphite for my driver. I'd suggest finding a pro with a Titleist wagon and try all sorts of shafts on for size. |
