What's the difference?

What's the difference between blades and ordinary irons?

by "ordinary irons" i'm assuming you mean cavity backs. blades are muscle backs and are much harder to hit, but produce more feel and workability for better players. cavity backs are much more forgiving and easier to hit.

I've always been a big fan of the if it aint broke dont fix it mentality. Example - friend of mine had a Ping G2 driver and hit it extremely well. Went out and bought the new Callaway and sold the Ping and he can't hit the Callaway well at all. Why did he switch? Just to say he had something new
