Golf Gloves

For those who use a glove just wondering how often do you change out your glove for a new one. With me it depends on the season summer and if i just get tired of some or they get excessivly dirty *yeah i know im picky*

I don't usually wear one but the ones I have have to be 'seasoned' before I buy another one.

I usually change gloves every 2 weeks.

I am a fairy when it comes to staying clean and nice.

yeah, same here. Its nasty when you see people with grey/brown gloves or with holes in them. Think of your gloves as socks, gotta keep them neat

I'm going though one every two weeks or so. Seem to put a hole in it at the thumb.

Hmm I used to get that more so then I do now, until I changed my grip slightly and eased off on how hard I hold the club. Not saying thats the issue with your grip though, hopefully some other members will chime in as well.

haha I am still using the same glove after about 3 months and about 15ish rounds. I really need to go on and buy a new glove this one is on the verge of tearing in about every spot.

True. i've been working on my swing and I am much easier on my glove now. this is good, I'm not using as much pressure.

IMO, you should always have two gloves in your bag and use each equally. That way, instead of obliterating one glove from brand new to tattered in a matter of days/weeks, you'll have more time playing with a nicely broken-in glove. Plus, with the "time off" each glove gets, I believe it extends the life of both.
