New TaylorMade r5 driver and r7 fairway woods

TaylorMade Introduces r7 TP Fairway Woods

Press Release

TaylorMade, the No. 1 brand of fairway wood on the PGA Tour, has introduced the r7 TP fairway wood, which incorporates TaylorMade's movable weight technology, a revolutionary technology that gives players the power to change the clubhead's center of gravity (CG) location to promote different types of trajectories. TaylorMade's movable weight technology was introduced last year in the r7 quad driver, currently the No. 1 driver model on the PGA Tour.

TaylorMade r7 TP fairway woods will become available at retail beginning in mid June at a manufacturer's suggested retail price of $500 per club with graphite shaft and $450 per club with steel shaft.

The new r5 press release:

I read all of the hype for the TM r7 drivers, and bought a Ti700 for $100 ( It is an r7 clone) While it hasn't perfected my drives, it has helped. And it is interesting to play with the weight distribution, to see how things change.

I may have to try out the Fairway woods later to see if they work as well!

does playing with the weights really make a difference? i think i would end up puting too much time into that rather than just focusing on hitting a good shot.
