Callaway X-18

Hi,

I would like to start playing golf again. I'm right now considering buying a set of Callaway X-18 irons (graphite). My question is if you think that's
overkill. I haven't played golf for about 3 years, and my previous irons
were Wilson FatShafts (steel).

Thanks in advance

I havent exactly played with them, but I found some info on them for your from callaways site. I would try them out and see if you like them, they might or might not be overkill depends on how you feel with them.

Watch out for knockoff's I hear that there is a problem with knockoff's and Callaway iron's lately.

Model Flex Weight Torque Kick Point
================================================== ======
Graphite Shaft SYS 55 UL Light 52 mid mid
Graphite Shaft SYS 75 CW Regular 75 mid mid
Graphite Shaft SYS 85 CW Stiff 85 mid mid

Women Gems 45i Gems 42 mid mid

Constanst Weight Uniflex Steel Steel 112 low mid

====================
The graphite shaft is royal blue for the upper half and black for the lower half. The half may not even be really a half. It may be 1/3 upper blue and 2/3rds lower black.
