Hybird Vs Woods

My little opinion.

Off the Teebox
- Fairway woods RULE in this situation. Longer, easier to hit in my opinion, and more controllable.
- Hybrids don't seem to work well, as they require hitting DOWN on the ball, which is not good off the teebox.

In the Fairway
- Hybrid is best choice. I like hitting down on the ball with my 2H, getting nice results.
- Fairway woods - seem to work OK, but the rounded soleplate of my 5W or 3W means I have to be VERY careful on hardpan fairways.

Light Rough
- Fairway woods work better for me - the rounded soleplate cuts thru the grass easier, and I get better results.
- Hybrid - Yuck. Formula for disaster for me, for whatever reason.
