Course Reccomendations around Orlando

Can anyone reccomend a good public golf course around orlando? I'll be there for a week next month and wanna try to get a round or two in. I'll probably regret it due to the heat but i'd like to play a couple nice courses. If anyone has played any nice ones down there let me know.

Go Mickelson

I've played at Southern Dunes and Falcon's Fire. Southern Dunes was very nice although the bunkers are killer. Falcon's Fire IMO wasn't kept up very well but I was there during the off season so I'm sure a lot of the ground under repair was due to ramping up for season so I let it slide.

Depending on where you're staying, check your hotel for discount coupons. I was staying at a Mariott and they had $25 off coupons for a round. I think a round with cart ended up costing me $75. You should have fun there if you're going to get in a couple of rounds.

Yeah, I was at Disney and Southern Dunes was about a 20-25 minute drive west. Still considered Orlando though, wierd. It wasn't bad though - it was all Interstate 4. Maybe someone else here knows for sure but I think most of the courses right at/near Disney may be private because the concierge didn't tell us about any of them except an executive par 3 course.

I really enjoyed Mystic Dunes....wonderful lay out. Located in a Time Share community, I think.
