| I truly believe some players have a natural rhythm and feel ingrained, while others are technically-based. It sounds to me like, while you think you may be prepping yourself for a shot, your head is talking yourself out of what you naturally can do. Some people's pre-shot routine consists of "hey, dummy, hit it!"
I get worse when I go to the range too much. When I have a problem, I'm better off just getting the clubs out of my hands and just doing some mental figuring. Example: I've been popping up and making weak contact with my driver lately. I took a flight and READ about a certain training aid. Next round out, I fired multiple 300+ yd drives. |
