Just got back from a trip to Mexico. Played in a town called tequisquiapan about 100 miles NW of Mexico city. 12 rounds in 8 days!!!!

It was awesome! caddies everyday, 80 deg. sunny, man what a trip.

The golf course is a lot of fun. Easy to walk, lots of different looks, and you hit every club in your bag.

I wish, but didn't take any. I visit my dad down there once or twice a year. I'll take some next time.

It's an interesting course though, especially the greens. They are receptive, but roll true (not footprints). Spinning the ball off the green happens frequently and often you need more club and an easier swing for the back pins, since you can't expect to just hold one back there. usually receptive greens are slow, these are lightning fast. I'll try and find out what type of grass it is next time I'm there.

Going to La quinta in a few weeks.

Played yesterday. Don't know what I shot because partner left the scoring card on the cart. Drove the ball fairly well. Irons were good, putting, chipping were awful. Greens were hard and fast....

Played some pracitce holes today and hit the ball very well. Chip and putting were bad but the greens were hard and fast. Swing is really starting to come along.
