notice something about pro golf's swing

i'm not sure if this is actually the proper method to the swing? but i gave it a try today on the game.

what i noticed while watching slow motion of a pro's drive... he rotates his hip toward the target first before the arms actually start the swing. i found it actually gave more power to the swing by doing this. but lol! in my situation, tho the ball did go further... my slicing is also worst too! lol! need to find out what i'm doing wrong... just can't seem to stop this slicing stuff.

yes that does give you more snap but you have to be careful not to get your hips out there too fast, not sliding either, or you might develop a nasty snap hook with over rotation. The best players have perfect unison with the hips firing through at impact not before.
