What do you do with your OLD balls..?

I tend to take a few down to the lake and tee off or give them away to some kids, but that isn't always a good thing as there is always a few broken windows when that happas. Anyway, what do you do with your old played out balls ?

Good question.

I have several shag bags full of old balls. Never considered having to do anything else with them. Now that you mention it, it seems stupid to buy another shag bag when my last one is full.

I have 200 on my hitting station mat at home, but the tray is full with no room for a single extra ball.

What can a person do with them?

I got a buddy who is just getting into golf, so I pass them onto him.

I gave a few away to some neighborhood kids, and the really bad ones I just discard.

mine are usually lost before they get that old. either that or i get bored and tee off into the woods when the group ahead of me is playing slow to kill some time.

I usually play with my two 16 year old boys. My wife just started, played her second round yesterday. I carry an old ball or two in my pockets, when they shag one out into the mesquite, I toss them another ball and tell them to try that shot again.

Much like golfbdh I do not get to keep mine that long. I played a course in the mountains 2 weeks ago there was very little rough and then tall under-growth I lost over a dozen balls that day.

If I don't give them to one of my friends, eventually I'll hit them while at the Driving Range.
