Whats the shot you'll never forget?

The shot that landed me an eagle on the 16th back in 2003.

Share some of yours if you want

Second shot, 18th hole, Canyon Springs Golf Course, San Antonio, TX. March 3rd, 2005.

144 yd, eight iron. Missed the green right.

Nothing special, except it was the last full shot of my first round of golf after a 10 year retirement. The 18th green at Canyon Springs is gorgeous with a water fall behind and the green framed by beautiful live oak trees and white sand bunkers.

I will remember standing behind my ball. looking at the green, and realizing how much I love golf, and how much I missed playing. I will remember that moment for the rest of my life.

Sometimes it doesn't even matter how good or bad the shot was, but how good the memory is from that time. Could be because of the course or the people you where with etc..

Thanks for sharing I hope others will also contribute. Its been kind of slow latly, don't you think ? Or is it just me ?

Possibly it's been slow because everyone is out playing. I haven't been on the net much lately simply because I have been at the course practicing or playing. Plus, there is the yard work and all the other "honey-do" stuff that seems to go hand in hand with summer.

I would imagine a lot of people are in that same boat.

I haven't thought of that, everyone is out playing Golf, now thats its warm. It is still below average here in Chicago, average is 74-75, but its only low 70's high 60's. Terrible, I can't wait for 80's

chipped in for eagle on the short par 4 18th at Gold Mountain GC in Bremerton, WA. gave me a 78 on one of the most difficult courses i had played. and in districts for high school no less! i'd had trouble shooting 85 there previous to that round. i will never forget that shot.

12th hole at Westchase GCC in Tampa. Long par 5 that dogs to the right a good bit. I snap hook the tee shot into the hazard left. I drop my third and play a nice 5 wood to about 165. From there - 5 iron lands just on the front of the green and bounces once and straight into the hole! Best par I've ever had!!
