Played a round at Olympic club in SF

Played the Ocean course and man was that fun. A beautiful day here and the views on the front nine are terrific.

The back nine was tough...every hole save one is into the wind which was blowing 30 plus at times. Got off the front 3 over but the back nine kicked my ass.

The greens are fast and hard, you have to play a lot of shots to run in to the hole which is unlike my regular track so it took a bit of adjusting.

Truly a course where you have to play a lot of different shots, not cookie cutter in the least bit. Did I say it was fun. Can't wait to play it again sometime, and hopefully get on the Lakes course at one point.

Nice, I haven't played that close to the ocean before, but im sure the views and breeze are amazing (even though the breeze can be unwanted at times). Glad you had fun, it is a privlage to be able to play at courses like that.

Thanks for sharing vincent.
