Came so close to a hole-in-one today

Only 110yrds but it stopped literally 4 inches from the hole. Man so close...

The nicest drive I ever had was on the hole directly before this par 3.
419yrd par 4, I drive within about 25yrds. No joke. My brother in-law and I were fabbergasted. I know for a fact I did not hit a cart path either. It did land on a slight downhill. I still don't know what to say about that drive.

Yikes, they say those only happan once in a life time , only 4 inchs must have been intense. Would be nice if the wind blew it in those 4 inchs.

To bad it did not go in, I know a few people who got hole in ones. They received the plague and all, it was a fun experience for everyone that day.

Closest I came was on a NH course - par 3, about 160 or so but green well below the tee. I hit one of the smoothest wedges ever, like I knew exactly where I was placing the shot. Landed about 6 feet beyond the flag and rolled back, missing the cup by about 2 inches, stopping about 3 feet below the hole. Yes, I made the birdie
