144 yd, eight iron. Missed the green right.
Nothing special, except it was the last full shot of my first round of golf after a 10 year retirement. The 18th green at Canyon Springs is gorgeous with a water fall behind and the green framed by beautiful live oak trees and white sand bunkers.
I will remember standing behind my ball. looking at the green, and realizing how much I love golf, and how much I missed playing. I will remember that moment for the rest of my life. |
