| I find that whenever I can pick up some Pro V1's at a local shop from the "basket 'o balls" for about a buck each, they usually play pretty well. I'm sure there is an occasional waterlogged ball in the mix but for the most part they're all barely used balls that were retrieved from the trees on local courses. It's cheap enough that I'm not wasting a fortune on balls yet I'm getting a good ball that feels nice (and yeah, I can feel the difference between these and, say, Top Flite X-Outs). I would not, however, go and buy these balls at full price. I just lose them too darn fast! |
