The INTERNATIONAL at Castle Pines

The INTERNATIONAL at Castle Pines.
August 10-13 2006.
Castle Pines Golf Club in Castle Rock, Colorado.

Retief Goosen is the defending champion of this event, which takes place at Castle Pines Golf Club in Castle Rock, Colorado. Last year, Goosen scored 15 points over the final two rounds to finish with 32, one better than Brandt Jobe, in the Modified Stableford scoring system, which awards five points for eagles, two for birdies, none for pars and deducts one for bogeys. The victory was worth $900,000 for Goosen. This year's purse is $5.5 million, with the winner getting $990,000. Goosen
will be back to defend his crown. U.S. Open champion Geoff Ogilvy also is slated to play, as is British Open runner-up Chris DiMarco. Goosen and DiMarco likely will be sportsbook favorites with Tiger Woods not expected to play.
