how often do you go to the movies or rent them?

I'm finding out that we're the minority as we very rarely go to the theater to watch movies (maybe once a year, if that) and we aren't big renters either (2-3 times a year, maybe). We're much more likely to wait until something comes out on TV if we want to watch.

I think part of the reasoning is my self diagnosed ADD. I can't sit in one place for too long without getting bored, so a confined movie theather isn't appealing to me at all.

I have a daughter that's almost 2 years old that keeps us pretty busy so we don't have time really to actually go to the theater. We ended up getting the netflix package for $9.99/month that lets you get unlimited rentals, 1 at a time. Sometimes we watch it the night we get it assuming we aren't too tired and other times it sits on the shelf for 2 or 3 days but it's definitely worth it to us. Considering it costs like almost $4 to rent a pay per view from our cable company and going to the movies is significantly more expensive than that... $9.99/month is worth it to us. I'd say on average we watch about 5 movies a month now. Before netflix we watched like maybe 1 if we were lucky and we usually ended up paying a late fee because we forgot to take it back to Blockbuster on time.

The wife and I are big time renters but not movie goers i just hate sitting trying to watch a movie with somebodys big ass afro in my way! i mean i got some bushy hair but dang!! lol

I rent movies and go to them a lot. I probabaly see a movie a month, and rent 8 a month. As I have a special membership with the local movie store. But I love going to the theaters.

I go to the movies at least once a week. I work as a movie critic for my local paper so I get to see them free.

We do the Blockbuster online service. It's just like Netflix but instead of mailing them back you have the option of exchanging them for a store rental so you can get a new movie right away. also you get a free store rental every month that you can use for a game.
We go to the theater maybe once or twice a year. usually when we're visiting family.

I used to have Netflix and I burned for a long while. My burner died and now I'm just watching all the movies I burned but never watched
