Why Use Hybrids ?

Ive heard from various players (as well as pros) that EVERY golfer has a place in their bag for hybrids. Like you said, if you arent super confident with irons over 4, you can get a hybrid replacement for your 3 and 2/5 wood.. They basically are like an iron, you hit them like an iron, but MUCH easier to hit. My friend has a 3 iron hybrid (TM Mid) and whenever i hit it, I realize how much easier it is to hit than a 3 iron. I think they might help you mentally...

Supposed to be really good for chipping and shots out of the rough, also... But yeah, from what Ive heard, hybrids have a place in all bags... I'd like to find some soon, too...
