[golfaddict]

i have this problem not sure what is wrong. i am a beginner and played about 2 seasons now (once a wk).

when i play a round of golf (9 or 18), i can drive the ball in an OK manner - not topping the ball, or taking out giant divets.

but when i practice on the driving range, its like as if i was a complete newcomer to golf. topping the ball, taking out good chunks of green, distance just plain sux and lack consistency (which in the field were OK consistency).

my setup in both situation is the same as when i play a round of golf. the driving range does not use astrotuff, we shot off the grass.

wondering if you guys could give me a pointer where to look for mistakes.
