why can't we ever get 2 players playing their best a tthe same time?

example: last year (when vijay could still putt) vijay dominated and was playing just as good as tiger ever had in spurts BUT tiger was struggling with his swing changes so the rivalry wasn't there.

this year is the opposite. tiger is in good form and now it looks like vijay is losing the battle with his putter. (also phil has tanked it and ernie and retief dont seem themselves either...sergio is too inconsistant)


i would give anything to have 2 players (if not more) playing their best golf at the same time so we could get some good battles in majors and other tourneys but it looks like its reverting back to the way it usually it is. one guy in fire and everyone else a bit off.
